A man goes insane, but later recovers.

All scenes where the submarine is bombed are very intense. This feeling is often enhanced with the crew dreading the sound of sonar pings of the Allies' Navy ships, knowing as they get louder and faster, the enemy is homing in on their position to attack.

Some distressing scenes towards the end of the film.
